As shown on Your outline drawing 3550-G-ST4.(Carbon Steel casing and Stainless Steel internals). Silencer quoted would be fabricated using the following materials. a) Body assembly - The body material shall be ASTM A-516 Gr 70 or equivalent. ( 5 mm thk)- b) Inlet/Outlet Nozzles - The Inlet/outlet nozzle material shall be ASTM A-106 GrB.(SCH 40) c) Acoustic Packing - Mineral Wool with packing density of 144 Kg/m The Acoustical packing shall be suitable for temperatures up to 450 0 C. . d) Inlet/Outlet Flanges - ASTM 105 N Carbon Steel or equivalent. e) Spacers /Basket Rings - Stainless Steel type 304 or equivalent. f) Diffuser Head Plate - ASTM SA 516 gr 60/70 Carbon Steel or equivalent (10 mm thk) All internal parts Stainless, but inlet diffuser (pepper pot) would be manufactured with A106 gr B pipe with head plate(end cover) would be ASTM SA 516 gr 70 . Diffuser would have holes for frequency shift, all depending on allowable pressure drop. If allowable pressure a few ins. wg, then we do not have to have diffuser. g) Flow Tubes - Stainless Steel type 304 or equivalent .( 16 swg thk). h) Erosion Protection - Fibre Glass Cloth. i) Bulk Head - Stainless Steel type 304 or equivalent.( 5 mm thk) j) Plug Welded Liner - BS 4360 gr 43 A Carbon Steel or equivalent.( 14 swg thk). k) Flat Ends - ASTM A-516 Gr 70 Carbon Steel or equivalent.( 8 mm thk) Performance Guarantee.
