Modules should only be replaced by DILO-trained and authorised qualified personnel. Should there be damage to the module or measuring device during replacement due to improper handling, DILO rejects any guarantee claims both for damage to the module and to the measuring device. The information in the operating manual on how to replace modules on older devices only rudimentarily shows the replacement procedure. Even for older measuring devices, modules of the latest generation are now used, which require special attention during installation. The exchanged module must be returned within one year. After return, a credit note will be issued depending on the condition of the module. The module must be returned securely wrapped in protective ESD foil. Otherwise, we cannot assume any guarantee for a credit note to be issued. If the module is not returned in this special wrapping, the risk of damaging the module is very likely.
